We are a company with over 50 years of experience specializing in the research, development, production and commercialization of flocked solutions. We focus on developing technical solutions and services tailored to each customer’s needs.

1968
Founded in Barcelona with flocked solutions for packaging and industry.
1994
Commitment to sustainability by formulating water‑based adhesives in our production process.
1997
Development of flocked products for upholstery and garment manufacturing sectors.
2000
Market adaptation with technical solutions and high‑quality products for automotive.
2001
We expanded our facilities with a new 6,000 m² plant.
2003
Obtained ISO 9001 certification for quality management.
2006
Obtained ISO TS 16949 certification to meet automotive quality requirements.
2013
Obtained ISO 14001 certification for the company’s environmental management system.
2014
Opened our first warehouse outside Spain, in the United States.
2015
Implemented 5S and Lean tools for continuous improvement and workplace organization.
2016
Continued global growth with a new warehouse in China.
2017
Started distribution in South Korea thanks to our partners in the region.
2018
Tapla® hosted the Symposium on Solutions for Automotive Sealing Systems and transitioned to IATF 16949.
2020
International expansion continued with logistics subsidiaries in China and Mexico.
2021
Tapla® participates in the CDTI – Eureka innovation project to develop a new product.
2022
Installed photovoltaic panels to contribute to more sustainable consumption.
2023
Automated the logistics process as part of the company’s continuous improvement project.
2024
Obtained the IFGICT certificate in recognition of compliance with and sustainable practices for the SDGs.
2025
Tapla® continues to grow with the opening of a logistics warehouse in India.
